Developer information
Developer: Ioannis Aivatzidis. Support email: jannisaivatzidis@gmail.com. This is the support page for both the iPhone/iPad and Mac App Store versions.
Using the app
Survive checks whether your current battery trend is likely to last through your target time. Grid helps plan when to connect to a charger before the power window closes. Backup Cell tracks an external battery separately from the device battery.
iPhone and iPad
Confirm that notifications and Background App Refresh are enabled for the app. Background App Refresh is scheduled by iOS, so checks may be delayed or skipped by the system and do not run at exact times.
Mac
Open the retro glasses icon in the menu bar to view the mission dropdown, switch between Survive, Grid, and Backup Cell, adjust preferences, enable notifications, or quit the app. If you choose Quit, monitoring and local alerts stop until you open the app again.
Troubleshooting
If notifications do not appear, confirm notification permission in Settings or System Settings. If the forecast looks conservative, keep using the app across normal battery days so the Learning Sequence can gather local samples. If the app asks whether charging is Grid or Backup Cell, confirm the source manually because iOS does not expose that source type to apps.
Purchases, billing, and refunds
The app is distributed through the App Store. Apple handles App Store purchases, receipts, billing, and refund requests. For purchase or refund help, use Apple's Report a Problem page. For app behavior, setup, or bug questions, email the support address above.
Privacy
The app does not create accounts, use third-party analytics, show ads, track users, contact a server, or share battery history. Battery samples, mission settings, notification state, and preferences stay on the device. Read the privacy policy.
Deleting local app data
The app does not keep server-side accounts or cloud profiles. Deleting the app removes the local app container, including local battery samples, preferences, and mission history stored by the app.
Important limitations
Hasta La Battery, Baby is a utility for local battery planning. It cannot guarantee that a device will remain powered, cannot force iOS or macOS to run background checks at exact times, cannot identify the physical charging source automatically on iOS, and cannot change protected system settings without user action.
Bug reports
You can also report reproducible bugs through GitHub Issues.
